Types of Websites:
There are a lot of types i will write about The Popular types of Website.
Blogs:
A blog is basically a type of website, like a forum or a social bookmarking site.
As such it is defined by the technical aspects and features around it,
and not by the content published inside it.
The features that make blogs different from other websites are:
- content is published in a chronological fashion
- content is updated regularly
- readers have the possibility to leave comments
- other blog authors can interact via trackbacks and pingbacks
- content is syndicated via RSS feeds
Static Website:
The static website is simple website design which is cost effective and beneficial
for the small enterprises or individual to expand their business through web.
Through static website individuals or small business houses
can place simple information regarding their
company and products in simple manner and at low cost.
Advantage of Static Website:
- Simple to create and host
- Cheaper in the comparison of dynamic website design
- Easy navigation for search engines
- Quick to download images, brochures even on lower bandwidths
- Each and every page of the website is editable
- Can see the preview before adding on live
- Can change the layout of web page when desired
- Direct control over content
Disadvantage of Static Website:
- Could cost you more in the long run depending on the frequency of the updates
- Long change process as you have to wait for a website designer to have the time to make your changes
- Difficult to maintain when a site gets large.
- Difficult to keep consistent and up to date.

a forum is an area where users share thoughts, ideas, or help by posting text messages. Different from chat because it is almost never live and can be read at any time.
